OT: Aquadots Recalled

It's been all over the news, but in case you haven't heard about it, here are a couple of  links: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,309318,00.html http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21678196/?GT1=10547 Unbelievable they have a kid's toy on the market that "has a chemical that converts into a powerful date rape drug when ingested."  I'm disgusted.  Truly disgusted. This was supposed to be one of the popular sellers this holiday season too.  Thank goodness we didn't buy it. 

yeah this doesn't surprise me... I thought that those things were weird from the gate.  I mean damn if they are gonna take shrinky-dink off the market and easy bake ovens too then these aqua dots were doomed.  I really didn't think that it would be a chemical hazzard as much as a choking hazzard....  Just goes to show you that you better watch your kids and what they put in their mouths, they are either gonna get lead poisoning or drugged up on toys...   good lord what next?  Edible undies for toddlers??

And you know it would be something that my 7 year old wanted for Christmas that is being recalled.  Go figure.  I almost bought them in Walmart a few days ago.   First I have to trash my kid's favorite pizza... now I have to find another replacement gift from Santa.  LOL
