My surgeon is Dr. Leo Davidson. I absolutely love him. He is so caring and compassionate about his patients! I am so excited I just want to scream!

Suzy -

Congratulations!!! The time will pass quickly and you will soon join us on the loser's bench. Looking forward to your company.

I have to tell you that even with the hair loss and excess skin, this is truly one of the best things I've ever done for myself.

All the best,

Barb

Congratulations Suzanne!  Nervous is normal, but you're right God will get you through.  If you'll permit me, I'll tell you what I post most of the time when people get their dates.  Everything you can do ahead of time to prepare will make your surgery easier and your recovery quicker.  Start taking your vitamins now, practice eating small bites that you have chewed thoroughly, try to stop drinking a 1/2 before meals and wait at least a 1/2 hour after before you drink again, and walk as much as you can daily.  Every pound you can lose and good habit you can develop before surgery will speed your recovery and your adjustment to your new lifestyle. Good luck and please keep us posted. Take care. Ellen

Own it all, it's yours!

Thanks for the great advice. I have been doing really good with everything except the not drinking during meals. I gave up all soft drinks about 6 months ago, I take my vitamins & I chew, chew, chew! I will definately work on that hard! Thanks again and take care! Suzanne
