Hey Nancy -

Thanks for the compliments. I don't know that I need another avatar yet, maybe in a few weeks.

As always, I truly appreciate your support and kindness. When I come down to Jacksonville to visit my nephew and his new bride, I'd love to meet with you and the others in the area.

Barb, As I read your thread, I have such a smile on my face- imagining your reaction and joy as you got your measurements! INCREDIBLE results! Isn't the stamina and sense of newly found strength liberating? It;'s cool to feel fit and strong. Keep it up! Can't wait to see you in person again soon! Love ya, Sheila

I am a work in progress and I am committed to progress with the work ahead of me.....

Thanks Sheila!

You are so right ... feeling fit and strong is liberating and invigorating at the same time. It sort of makes up for all of that loose, hanging skin. It brings the focus back to the reason I and so many of us took this "drastic" step; to be healthier ... that being "thinner" is a bonus, not the goal. Being healthy is the goal and I'm so much healthier now than I was last year ... in so many ways ... measurable and not.

I look forward to seeing you again too.

I'm glad to call you friend, friend.

Love,

Barb

Barbara:      Glad you are feeling better. You are doing awesome and hopefully will always keep that in mind. I am looking forward to the Nov. get-together. Take care, my friend.

SO glad to read this post.  And I hope that improved feeling is continuing today as well.  I would definitely be wearing those size 10 (vanity or not!) jeans on days like you had Tuesday!  Congratulations on all your successes, my friend, and thank you for so much support and inspiration!

Barb, I am so glad you are feeling better. I can't wait to have more stamina and be able to work out. Right now I can hardly work my 12 hr shifts and deal with my family. My house work goes to pot most of the time.  I am very impressed with your inches lost....compare those  size 10 pants with what you used to wear. I know that would make me feel better. Best of luck for continued emotional improvement. ramona
