Dr Mann...not Dr Naziri
I gotta call from my coordinator Rhonda this morning. Apparently my surgeon is Dr Mann and not Dr Naziri! At the hospital when I did my testing, the info on my bracelet said Dr Naziri so I just assumed that was my surgeon. Apparently, that was a typo because my testing had Dr Mann's signature on it. Oh well. Either or. The good thing is that Dr Mann is not nearly as busy as Dr Naziri. Rhonda informed me that I could get an appointment for my Endoscopy within the next couple of weeks. Woo Hoo!!!

Maybe that means you'll end up having your surgery sooner too! Keep us posted on your progress.

Barb,
I've decided I'd like to have my WLS after the New Year. Kind of like a New Year's resolution but a permenant one. :) It wouldn't make since to go through a major life style change like that right around the holiday season. Hopefully, I'll be able to have my surgery when I want to...around mid January. :)

HI Shelly,
I'm a Shelly too! and I just had my surgery with Dr Naziri 10/16/07. One thing I learned with Southern Surgical is dont miss your appts they schedule with the various testing clinics. These other providers do have tight schedules and it takes weeks to get an appt if you have to reschedule. Dr Mann and Dr Naziri are both great , I had a really good experience with them. Good luck !!!
Hey Shelly! Ha ha. :) Thanks for the advice...I've unfortunately already found out about the rescheduling appointments. I've got kids and it's hard to find a babysitter and have money for the co-payments, etc. But thank you for the info about the surgeons. Glad to know someones happy with them. I haven't met Dr Mann yet.
