Update
I had an appointment last Friday. I thought it was to see my surgeon, but it was to see the cardiologist. I wasn't disappointed. I was wonderin when I'd see him. :) The cardiologist wants to do some testing before he okays me for surgery. I don't mind. I'll do what I gotta do to get this surgery. Drive to the far ends of the Earth if necessary. :)
I gotta two part stress test to do. First half next Thursday (an hour away). The second part on Nov. 6th (two hours away). But the doctor told me that he'd be able to see me and give me his recommedation on the same day when I see him for part 2. So I'll know by Nov. 6th if he okays me.
I've got one other test to do...the endoscopy. I called to make an appointment for one and was told that my surgeon isn't doing them at the time and that I'll have to leave my name and number with them and they'll call back with an appointment.
Since I don't wanna have surgery til after the New Year (might as well wait til then now) I'm okay with waitin.

Good luck on the tests! I hear you about jumping through the hoops, but it will be worth it for sure! I wish you luck on your process and that they ok WLS for you! Keep us posted!
