Update on the Sisters "Julie & Jenny"

Hi everyone, I wanted to post and let everyone know that Julie and I are doing well.  We both had surgery on July 2, 2007 and to date have both lost 80 lbs each!  Julie is wearing a size 20 and I am in a size 24 - this was the best decision that we have ever made.  Best wishes to everyone - I have a few new pics of me on my profile page - Jenny Jenny  Starting weight July 2nd  352 lbs Today's weight Oct 22nd 272 lbs

It is sooo cool that you and your Sister we able to have surgery on the same day!  Sounds like you're doing great!!!!!  Keep up the great work and positive outlook!!!

I'm glad to hear that everthing went OK. It is something special that you can give support to each other since you had the WLS at the same time. Keep up the great weight loss.

Hi Jenny and Julie as well:

I was wondering about my surgery sisters. I PM'd one of you(short memory) but it was directed to you both.....anyhow, glad you both are well and you two are kicking butt with the weight loss. I am way behind you both but as long as I get there. I am doing everything right but my body sure is hanging on to those pounds for dear life....lol. You both are doing great and I sure hope you will keep us posted more often. don't be so scarce on here! Take care. Lisa

Congratulations to you and Julie. I too think it was the best thing I've done for myself, with the exception of marrying my husband and having my children.
