home from hospital

Well I had my siugery on Monday morning, I do not remenber anything  after I was put on the surgery table until I was in my room. The pain was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I have to remenber to take the pain medicine at home. I had to stay an extra day because I could not keep my liquids down because of swelling. I am so glad tobe home sleeping in my own bed and woken up every two hour. Dr K was great I saw him or his resident three times  a day most of the time they were together.  I am moving around more so I have to take my pain medicine on time, because the nurses are not here to give it to me. The worst is over now it is time to begin my new lif in the losers club. I am going to go now I am getting tired and I need to lay down.

 

   

I am glad to hear that things went well and you are home resting comfortably. I just have to say that Dr. K. is one of the finest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.  My pain was minimal.. in fact I did not even feel the need to use the PCA pump in the hospital.  Even when I got home I was ready to get out and about in a week.  He is just the man!!   I am sure that you still have steri-strips, but I hope your incisions looks as good as mine.  They are so thin and flat.  :)  good luck!

 Cynthia, I'm glad your home. Sorry you had to stay an extra day but, safe than sorry. After reading how well you went thru the surgery it put me at ease. I'll be in touch with you soon. Keep sipping. Reenie
