feeling a little "safer"

I'm now 25#'s from that nast 200# mark and I feel a little safer. I'll feel better when I'm somewhere between 40 and 50#'s away from 200#, but 25# doesn't seem as precariously close to that magic number as 20#'s did.

I know what you mean.  Being 293 is better than 295 which is better than 299.4!   I think I actually believe that my weight will not begin with a 3 ever again!

Please tell me that once I'm on the looser side that even one pound lost will feel like a mountain has just been moved.....   you both sound like it.  wow!  such inspirations. I'm so discouraged.  Maybe its the rain here in NC today.  AND I shouldn't even be sad about that because we need it so much.   I'm just waiting and waiting and waiting...   some more....... ::::sigh:::: Connie

I know how you feel.  I was at a total panic when my weight got up to 292 pounds.  There's something about a 100 pound mark that seems so very perminent....like if I were to hit 300...it would be a straight shot to 400.
Starting weight  - 292 pounds

I know how you feel.. I weighed in yesterday and it hit me that I am only 12 pounds away from being 100 pounds lighter than I was in April.  It is all so surreal on some level.. but I am loving it!!  I cannot wait to see a number 1 in front of my weight.  :)

How exciting! I hope to hear your sqeals of delight all the way up here in Raleigh.

I'm sure you'll get there very soon. When you do, you'll have to join the "Century Club."

Remember that for every 1/4 of a pound we lose, that is the equivalent of 1 stick of butter. When I lose "just" one pound and am feeling sad about it, I get out a 4-pack of margarine and hold it in my hand.  That is how much I have lost when I lose "only" one pound.  That imagery makes me feel MUCH better! Keep your chin up, and remember you are not alone!
