Letters for denial by insurance
I was once again denied by Cigna. I was denied two years ago and started all over again without appealing. I thought I had met all their requirements this time and I do intend to appeal. Last time I found letters written by doctors and patients for appeal, but I don't remember the site. Do any of you know where to go to get some ideas on appeals. Typically you are responsible for appealing on your own behalf. My advice is to appeal specifically based on your denial... if you have Drs who are for you having surgery and havent written reccomendation letters yet contact them and have them do so and submit them with your appeal as well.
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)
1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
