Im back from Florida

I had a very hard time being able to drink and stay hydrated. It was very hot out and if I drink more then a small sip no matter if its water or tea or crystal lite I feel like Im going to throw up everywhere. Soo it was challenging not to get overheated and knowing I could not chug my drinks like everyone around me was. Sheryl when I heard Goofys voice in the parks I thought about you LOL hes so funny!!
Today is my one month surgiversary!!! man that went by really fast!!! it was nice to not have a scale in my hotel room. I will do my weigh in tommorro when I see Dr. Mann. I am now on stage three foods (I was at Disneyworld too LMAO) I walked and walked and walked my butt off so I hope I at least dropped a pound. I missed everyone and hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!
Hugs to all~

Darcie -
Glad to hear that you had such a nice time.
Check with Dr. Mann. We weren't cleared for carbonated drinks until our 3 month post op visit. They said that before the pouch is completely healed at about 7 or 8 weeks, it can actually be dangerous to have carbonated drinks because the carbonation actually expands in the pouch. He that after 3 months some patients tolerate carbonated drinks okay. Others do not.
I'll bet that you dropped more than a pound with all of that walking.
Great to have you back.
