Article in the Raleigh News & Observer

Did anyone see the article in the Raleigh N&O about Emergency Services and the effect obesity has on the performance of their jobs.?  I could not believe the expense to outfit an ambulance to support a person over 300 pounds.    I am so thankful that I am on the losers bench and getting healthy so that I will not ever be the statistic that gets carried out through a window on four backboards that have been duck taped together to a waiting ambulance that might or might not hold me.
