I'm almost there!

Good Morning Everyone! Well I'm almost there.   I have completed all my pre op test, seen the Nuttritionist  & had my Phychological evaluation.  My Vitamin D and B-12 are a little low so I have to start taking supplements now,  other than that everything else is good.  Now It's time to submit all my information to the insurance company, which I'm very confident that they will approve the WLS. After that we all know what comes next~ A DATE with the Surgeon!  I guess I shouldn't be to confident about getting approved by the insurance company, but it's been nearly a two year battle and we just got new Insurance, so I feel pretty good about it.   Anyway I'm starting to get excited about this, but I know the fear and anxiety will come when I finally get a surgery date! Whewww Hooooo!

I know you are excited!!   Do you go to the Monroe WLS Support Group at CMC-Union?

To tell you the truth I did not know there was a support group at CMC Union, I live about two block from the hospital.

I love the Union Support Group.  We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month @ 6:30 pm in the Private Dining Room.  :)   Come in November!! 

Thanks so much....I'll have to remeber that, from what I understand the support groups are great, and I do know that my Dr. wants me to go to them. 

It sounds like everything is moving along well for you. Good luck with the Ins Approval, I'm sure you'll get the goahead soon!
