Anyone with Dr. Voellinger?

I have decided it is time to actually start the ball rolling. Dr.Voellinger is having a seminar on October 22 and hopefully, I will be able to attend. I was just wondering if any of you have or had Dr.Voellinger as your doctor and how did everything go or how is everything going for you? Any info on him and his staff would be appreciated. I did not use Dr. Voellinger, but one of his staff members spoke at our monthly support meeting in Monroe this past week.  She was a hoot!  I know a couple of the Monroe ladies used him for their bands.  They seemed pleased. CMC-Mercy has an Information Session on October 24th @ 6:30 in the auditorium (http://www.carolinashealthcare.org/facilities/hospitals/merc y/bariatric.cfm).  Dr. Kuwada usually presents and I just think he is the best!   I am not sure if you are set on one doc or the other, but you may want to attend more than one info session.  :)

I had Dr Voellinger in fact my year anniversary is coming up on Oct 23rd.. He is a wonderful man very careing and does his job.He's compasionate and takes the time to listen to you. Believe me he does hear every word you say.His staff are also wonderful.You will not be disapointed..So far I have lost 130 pounds.. but what ever you do listen to him take your vitimins and your protein it's very important..Please let me know how you make out. Dr Voellinger will change your life for the best if you follow what he says.

Hi.  I'm one of Dr V's patients.   November 6th will mark my 1 yr anniversary with my VSG.  I've been at goal since August.   I work in the healthcare field and am rather picky when it comes to being on the patient side.   I've had a great experience with Southeast Bariatrics.  We're having a special support group meeting this month with 2 guest speakers.  It will be on Thursday, October 25th.  Its a great way to meet both pre and post op patients.  I recommend coming to one of the support group meetings to hear both the pros and cons of WLS.  Please message me if there are any specific questions I can answer.  Robin

Another Dr V patient here....I went to several seminars in the area and when I met Dr V I knew right away he was the right one for me. He is very caring, compasionate and wants everyone to succeed. Good Luck in your choice, this is a life changing event and one that you will be need support and guidance through for the rest of your life. :-)
