Aenta help

Any one have Aetna HMO. My paper work is scheduled to be submitted first of November but the insurance lady says it normaly takes them a month to respond. Has anyone have any experience with them and if so what can i provide to them to make sure they approve me the first go around and in less than a month?

Glad you are getting close to being approved. Lisa Green told me that it would take up to a month to get an approval from United Health Care-Choice also. It only took two days. I assume it depends on the Ins. carrier! Keep us posted on your journey.

They told me @ Dr. K's office that it would take up to 3 weeks for BCBS to approve.. but it only took one day!!  SO..  keep your chin up. 

And don't you just love Dr. K?  He is the best in my book!

 

To get them to approve you the first go around you need to submit everything they are asking for and meet their criteria... as for approving you less than a month - by law they have a certain amount of time - 30 days... they have to quote you the full time.... it really all depends on how busy they are at the time your information is submitted as to how long it will take. Keep in mind the end of the year is approaching and a lot of people are 'pushing' to get things done before the new year starts.. :-)

Yes he is great. The whole team there is great. I sent Lisa an email Saturday morning and she responded back within 15 minutes. I wasnt expecting a response bac****il today.

I have Aetna i was approve within 2 weeks so it may not take as long as you think, if your paperwork is in order they will let you know fast.
