I'm concerned ...
Who is your nutritionist? I had surgery with DrMelkonian and was given a packet that specifically outlines the post-op eating. You should also have had a 2 week post-op follow up with the NUT to go over how to move from liquids to soft foods. Then you should see the NUT again to move you from soft foods to 'normal eating'. (unless this changed!) I would go back to the packet... you should be at, I believe, a 1/4 cup per meal.
Its not possible that your eating caused you to gain actucal weight - it could be water weight, it could be a natural fluctuation, could be your bodies reaction to the MWL. Just try and be patient and it will start going down again.
Please pick one weigh day a week and stick to it... otherwise you will go insane. The scale wont move everyday... sometimes not every week. Also keep in mind we sometimes lose inches and not pounds.
As an FYI there is a support group at Presby Hospital the 3rd Monday of every month at 630... which would be this comming Monday. Not sure if you are familiar with Anju (shes a RD) but she is always at the seminars/support group so if you have a question she is always more than happy to answer it. DrLowe will also be at the seminar that night (well should be).

You girls are the greatest. Thanks for the encouragement and support. It seems that I'm just not drinking enough water. I'm going to try to increase that as much as possible! I have noticed a little swelling in my ankles the last few days. I'm going to give a shot and try not to worry. I will definitely be at the support group at Presbyterian next week. Thanks again everyone!
