Portion Control

What I have read through Dr. Kuwada  WLS books, he wants us to portion our food by ounces. This morning in the Charlotte Observer I found this article that might be helpful if you need to portion your food. The item is called,"Food Cuber". which allows you to pre-portion and store at the same time. The ice cube-like trays store food portions ranging from 1/4 cup to 2 cups. Each tray has a "fill" and "half fill" line. Freezer and dishwasher safe. Cost is $7.49 per tray. There is a variety of different trays and a set also.  Just go to www.foodcuber.com and check it out.  I thought it was pretty cool.

That sounds like a neat little gadget. I also use measuring cups/spoons and a digital scale.

Thanks for the info.

I use the 1/2 cup Ziploc plastic containers that go from freezer to microwave.  Just portion it out in 1/4 cup servings and run with it!  It works great.. especially if you are taking stuff to work. Do you have a date yet?

No I don't. I called Lisa last Friday and gave her my Ref# and I received my letter from UHC on Tuesday. Faxed it off last night. E-mail Sherrie this afternoon and asked if she received my fax and when will I hear when my date will be. Hope to hear back from her tomorrow.  Have any suggestions??? Thank's for asking. I'll keep you posted. Reenie
