I wanted to share that with all you wonderful people that have helped me.. But I don't see a difference yet,, it's still hard to believe that I'm down 20lbs...My clothes still fit the same and all.. I can't wait to get to my first mini-goal of 35lbs.. I might join curves to get more into gear with the exercise thing.. so far I just walk like 30 minutes on the treadmill... blessings to you all

Taryn, 20lbs is great and joining curves is good too. One day you will be so happy you have done this. I know I feel a joy in my heart I have never had before. I go to curves and what I like is I can park go in do my work out and leave and know I have done something good for myself that day.                                  Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

Congrats to you! One morning you are going to wake up... go to get dressed and your clothes will be falling off. Its one of the mysteries of weight loss. I swear one day I woke up and could FEEL I was skinnier... that was around 30 something pounds lost. At 50lbs lost is when I started to really notice a difference and people who didnt know I had surgery started to say something :-)

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Extended TT, lipo, fat injections - 11/2011

BA/BL/Arm Lift - 7/2014

Scar revision on arms - 3/2015

HALO laser on arms/neck 9/2016

Thigh Lift 10/2020

Thigh Lift revision 10/2021

Hey Taryn -

CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!!!! You have lost weight and have started to make daily exercise part of your life. You are going to do so well!

My experiences has been similar to what Jennifer said in her reply. It seems like I can wear the same size and don't see any change in my clothes for a while, even if the scale is moving ... and then ... all of sudden, my clothes are falling off. It will be happening to you too very soon.

Keep using that treadmill and join Curves. You are doing wonderful things for yourself.

Congratulations! i have hit that same 20lbs mark and do not feel a change in my clothes. but, i know if i keep loosing then the clothes will have to start falling off eventually! going to curves might keep some variety in your exercise so you don't get tired of doing the same thing. or it can just add an extra kick to what you are already doing. go for it!

That's very cool, congrat! Curves is a pretty good workout for just 30 mins. I think it's also cool that they measure you each month so you can see inches too in addition to pounds. Good luck!
