Your thoughts are needed...

Candice -

First of all, I hope that you two have a wonderful weekend. Second, try starting with a soup, menstrone or pasta fazul (sp), then consider something done w/grilled shrimp and vegis ... if you try the pasta, go easy and remember to pay attention to how you are feeling. Stop as soon as you are no longer hungry ... don't want to pay the piper for overeating when you are out celebrating.

I also was challenged with what to eat while we were in TX ... I was concerned with how I would do. I actually found that I was able to have things that I liked that worked for me ... I just had to look at the menu differently than before surgery.

I'm sure that you'll have a wonderful time. I look forward to hearing about it.

Congratulations on your continued weight loss. It looks like you are definitely working your surgery!

All the best,

Barb

Candice, Good to see you last night.  I love Charleston too.  Just remember.  This is the new you.  There are so many wonderful things to see in do in Charleston other than the restaurants.  Concentrate on those things.  Replace thoughts of food with the thoughts of Bob Howard Shoes!!! OH my ,what a place dreams are made of!!!  Northern Italian is always lean meats, veal, chicken or seafood in a very light sauce.  I skip the pasta course and may eat a bit of my hubby's.  That is enough to satisfy.  See lots of beautiful things and relax!!!You will do great.
