Hi friends!! Well, I am days away now from my surgery, which is 10/11 (Thursday).   I have Barbara as my angel (I hope).  I heard you were the best angel out there!!   Anyway, I am having so much anxiety right now that I can hardly stand it.   I was doing good a few weeks ago, freaking out again, then good...and now being days away....anxiety level..HIGH! Did any of you go through any of these feelings? Please pray for me to get through this week and this surgery.  I just want to come out on the other side, with no complications.   That is asking for a lot...but, I am hoping for the best!! Caroline, I know you're excited girl!  I wish you the best of luck with your surgery and recovery!  We're making room for you on the loosers bench!!!! 

I didn't have time for anxiety or doubt when I had my WLS, I was approved and the doctor's office called the next day and asked if I could be at the hospital the next morning for my WLS... they'd had a cancellation.  Soooooo no time for that for me, no last meal, no anxiety, no doubting anything.  I think it's totally normal to have those feelings though.  Just know you'll do wonderfully and keep positive thoughts and you'll be fine!   I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!  See you on the flip side!

Caroline, Be encouraged!  Your feelings right now are what many of us had felt.  If you weren't nervous, the I would be concerned.  This is a serious life altering decision that you have made.  Your nervousness is coming from that.  I am SUPER excited for you!  I can not wait to have you beside me on the looser's bench.  Unfortunately, I will be going out of town for the rest of the week..  You are in great Angle hands with Barb.  She is the best.  I will be thinking and praying for you on Thursday.  Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need anything.  I will be checking in on you later in the week.  Your day is here...Enjoy the journey! I remember the anxiety like it was yesterday!! TOTALLY NORMAL!!!! I freaked out right up till the morning of surgery so its all normal I hope everything goes perfect for you and that you have a uneventful surgery!! best of luck sweetie!!
