When  I call and get the answering machine...I may leave a message but...I then call till I get a human voice.  I am trying to beat having to repay the deductables and catatrophic yearly amounts myself. Work on them getting it sent off then I have heard things move faster. I will let you know if that is true or not. Good luck Myrtis

Hi Connie, I waited from March 12th to June 26th before my insurance gave the OK.  My surgery was then scheduled for August 7th.  So it will depend on your insurance company and how quickly they approve or require additional info. Good Luck - the wait is worth it!!!  I have lost, as of this morning, 50 lbs.  I feel great, and you will too!!!!

Well no one called me back today...and no emails here at work.  I have checked home voicemail up until I knew they would no longer be there this evening and of course nothing...  I'm really frustrated.  I'm sorry everyone, I don't want to be.  I really hate feeling this way.   I will go home from work and check home email just to see if by chance they emailed me there ....  I'm not too hopeful at this point. 

I like the idea of asking to have a copy of the documents and let me submit them myself.  I just wonder if they will let me do that?  I think tomorrow I am going to have to turn my green eyes NEON GREEN and become just a bit WITCHIER.   It is my health and I can't let myself get this far and let it slip away.   Thanks for everyones help.  If anyone is going to see Dr. B....  Tell him that Connie in Gastonia really needs to know something soon!!!  hahahaha! Just to let you know, I have gotten calls back at 8 at nite.  Sometimes when things are hectic, they will take the phone messages home and return calls from home.  Are you sending messages thru your patient portal thingy?  I have been really happy with the responses I have gotten from the practice, but remember, your medical providers are your employees.  You are the customer.  And yes, they are your docs, so you should be able to get them no prob.  It's in your best interests to ask Kim what you can do to help get things moving.  Good luck!
