One Small step for UHC/One Giant leap for ME!!!

Just wanted everyone to know that I got approved for WLS yesterday. I called this morning and UHC said they received the paper work Oct 2, and Oct. 4 it was approved. I can't believe it only took 2 days. I just love my Ins. thru work. 

Congratulations Reenie!  I too have UHC at work but our office has a specific WLS exclusion. I amm going self pay as I want to start my new life now and not in a couple of years!

Thanks Myrtis, Since it's a Holiday weekend I won't hear from the Dr.'s office til next week.  Have you heard anything about your approval yet?

First of all...LOVE the title of this post!!  I have personal issues with UHC...as you know. LOL Still rolling! Second of all...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that it happened to you! I can hardly beleive I was approved so fast!!!!  I assume they saw my paper work and said,"Oh my God " this poor thing, she needs it bad. I'll  post my date when they call.
