Got my staples out today
Hey everyone,
I got my staples out today and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! it feels so much better not to have them rubbing my skin. I just love Dr. Mann, I was reading a magazine when he walked in and it had lindsey lohan on the cover and I put it down and he said *Britany is in trouble again* LOLOL I said you got the wrong girl but the same concept hahahahaha he asked how I was doing and said I was doing good on the weight loss and asked if I had started walking. I asked him if I could eat real food soon LOL he told me not to do anything brave
Ok the funny thing and I told him about this and I dont know HOW this happened.... I have been a life long sufferer of hardcore sinus problems. I have been on every single pill, spray ect possible and nothing helps or it puts me to sleep. I have had three sinus surgeries and my tonsils out... ok so ever since he did RNY on me I have NOT had to use any nasal spray or take any sinus pills
he looked at me like I was crazy and said that was a new side effect for RNY. I thought it was worth telling him about because my sinus headaches are gone and so is the constant stuffy nose.. who would of ever thought that would of happened!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Yeah Darie!!! So happy you have your staples gone! I didn’t have staples but I had a G-Tube and boy do I know about how those "foreign" objects get in the way. It is like instant gratification once they are taken out!! Hope you have a good weekend too! Candice

Cool beans Darc! I KNOW you feel better with them gone! That's a pretty good deal that you get your sinuses taken care of as a result of the surgery. Since we didn't get to go to the beach, I've been thinking maybe we could all do another get-together......think on it! Hope you have a great weekend!

I'm glade you got your staples out. I know how they feel. I had my Gallbladder out in 1982. It was not done Laparoscopic at that time, so I had a 18 in. cut with staples. WOW!!!
