Kickin it into High Gear

Mornin all, I am currently 6 months out and my weight loss has been steady and consistent.  I feel it is time for me to kick it into high gear!  At times, I almost feel like a bystander watching this happen to me.  Now that I weigh 180 lbs I am going to start jogging instead of walking, doubling my protein and water intake, and begin serious weight training.  I don't want a small fat looking body, I WANT LEAN!!!   Cya, I'm outta here, got to MovE ToDaY!!!! Woo hoo you go girl! MSN Fitness has some great speed walking/walk jogging programs that help you build up.. they give many tips and tricks!!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Sounds great Diane!  I'm right there with you.  Time to step it up at the Gym for me too.  Not going to jog any distance yet, but I can, I did it the other night.  Just a tenth of a mile or so, but it felt sooooo good.  Good luck stepping it up! Take care. Ellen
