RNY Surgery Monday!!!!

I'm a newbie here although I've been a lurker for quit some time. My date is almost here and I'm so excited. Of course that is mixed with nervous and anxious..... Anyone from the Wilmington area or had Dr Miles for a surgeon? Would appreciate thoughts and prayers!!! Renee 

Renee, I don't know anything about Dr. Miles, but I wish you good luck on your surgery Monday! I'll be sending my prayers your way. Let us know how you do afterwards!

You are in my neck of the woods, I live in Richlands. My first doctor I ever called was Dr. Miles but he was not in my insurance companies network so I went with Dr. Mann. Good luck to you on your surgery!!

Hello and welcome!  I am from the Wilmington area, but chose Dr Harris over Dr Miles as my surgeon because his practice is a Bariatric Center of Excellence, among other reasons.  I have not regretted my decision.  All the best to you on Monday!

Thanks everyone!!! My surgery is at 1:00 so I plan to sleep in Monday morning. I have my chapstick packed (as many have suggested). I plan to walk...sip...walk....sip after I get home and rest of course. I'm sure I'll be on with questions post op and know you guys will have the answers. I've learned so much from all of you and feel comforted to know I have a place to go for info Thanks Renee
