I hope to be home tomorrow
Everything has gone well since my surgery on Wed. I did wake up in a lot of pain, but they got on top of it. I had to stay in recover until after 10:30 pm because they did not have a room. I was tired and cranky by that point. Thankfully, I have only had 2 episodes of gas pain early on. I have done a couple of laps around the floor today. I feel okay except for the incision where the larger instrumentas went in for the lap. I am on liquid Loratab right now which helps. I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.
It's good to hear from you Belinda. I'm glad things went well and you are up and walking around. Have you had the leak test yet? How was it? Can't wait to hear more from you since we are both pts of Dr. C. Take care and hope you get home tomorrow for the weekend. I'll be there over the weekend I guess since I'm having it on a Friday. I sure hope they do the leak test on Saturdays.

Hi Belinda -
I'm so sorry that you woke up in pain and had to wait so late for a room. I'm glad that they were able to get on top of the pain and it's being managed now. I know that you'll be glad to get home. Keep up with the walking, sipping and resting.
Welcome to the loser's bench.
