AARRGGHH! Sorry venting

Just when I think I have it all figured out someone has to throw a monkey wrench into the works.  The hospital called today and tried to tell me I had to pay more than I agreed with the surgeon, plus pay for the anesthesiologist.  I think I am about ready to call Susan with Dr Alvarez and begging her to reschedule me.  I called the surgeon, had about a total meltdown, and can say he only barely placated me.  To make a long story short, after I hung up I remembered the surgeon's office is also owned by the same corporation as the hospital.  Hubby and I have an appontment tomorrow to see the surgeon - was already scheduled - but I am tempted to tell them (local hospital and surgeon) where to go. On the other hand, I also wonder if this is God's way of telling me not to do this??? I think I should just call it a day and sleep on it. thanks for letting me vent Mary in NC

Hang in there, Mary. I have run into more trouble than a little! It will happen in God's good timing. His timing is never wrong. Unfortunately, our timing isn't always in sinc with His. *sigh* Just knock down those obstacles as they are put in front of you, girl. Eventually it will pay off. Let's face it, Mary, there is little else you can do at this time of day other than vent!  So you go right ahead and get it out of your system!  Then you can enjoy the rest of your evening and take care of business tomorrow! It'll all work out just the way it's supposed to.  It's so hard to have a plan in mind and then see it go to pieces.  But try to trust the process and you will see it all come together.

I ran into $ trouble too.  Maybe you can find a way around it.  I have to come up with $1,300 by Dec.  I pray that is all.  If they want more, I will have to reschedule.  Saving that up is making me save every penny I can.  It is really hard.  Then Christmas is comming too.  I am sorry you are having this problem.  Hang in there and see what happens.

Thanks.  I am self-pay so I am stealing money from myself --- my IRA.  I figure I need this surgery now more than I need to worry about retirement -- I wonder if I will make it to retirement?!? We meet with the surgeon today so will see if they will come down any -- if not I a calling Dr. Alvarez in Mexico again. Mary
