Buddy and I are up and it is 1:30am he drank more of his bottle than he did yesterday he has figured out this is where he gets his food from. He wraps his little hands around it and it is so cute and he drinks. I am so blessed again to have a chance to raise another squirrel.  I dont know what it is but after raising Balicks last year and now havin a chance to raise Buddy it touches my heart in a way I cant describe. I am concerned about Thursday and my surgery but I am just going to tell Lee we are going to have to bring Buddy with us and he will be happy in Lee's pocket. Hopefully the eye surgery wont be too long and Lee can go and feed him while he waits. The part about the surgery that concerns me is the nurse asked if I have sleep apnea well yes I do and she said bring your bi-pap machine. I asked her wasent this done under a local and she said yes but they give you medication in a IV to help relax you. I just need to focas on getting this done and not to worry. So by the time they do my right eye I will know what to expect.                                                   Annie

Good morning Annie, Coffee's on!  Gracie is talking up a storm this morning and Larry hasn't had an "accident" in the house in over a week now.  He is doing really well to only be 4 1/2 months old.  I am so pleased your little Buddy is doing so well.  He is blessed to have you.  I have class this morning at ACC so I don't go into wor****il 11:30 a.m.  I think I'm ready to go back to 2nd shift.  I miss my mornings to myself! Love ya, Diane

Sounds like Larry is doing great and is forming his own personality. I bought some French Vanilla SF coffee the other day and I am looking forward to having some this morning.                                               Annie

Good luck on your surgery!  That is so cute how you take buddy everywhere with you.  Wow it's like having a baby, getting up for the feedings.

Goodmorning Mare, We are working on getting some pics of Buddy this morning so before I go to Curves with my baby I will post them. Buddy has been up early with Lee and exploring his back and shoulders by Buddy doing this it tells me he is bonding with us both and is starting to think of us as mamma and pappa squirrel.                                     Annie

Annie -

I know that you and Lee are God send to Buddy. I'm glad he provides you with such joy.

I'm sure that all will be well with your surgery. If I understand correctly, when they give you the "twilight" meds, they make you sleepy and you may fall asleep, as opposed to when you are anesthestized to the extent that you are put "out." I'm sure that they just want to be sure that you are well-oxygenated if you doze off during the procedure.

Take care and please ask Lee to post your progress if he gets a chance.

Barb, I noticed when I had my surgery and when they gave me pain meds ect.. they never gave me the full amount because of the sleep apnea. My nervous level maybe at a high point tomorrow so when that happens it takes a strong or regular does to calm me down. I am going to try very hard to be good tomorrow and put it in God's hands. I am so looking forward to having this done and be able to see well again. I told Lee maybe it is good I am having both eyes done now at 48 instead of later in my life and I know the cataracts wont come back.                        Annie
