*Sigh*
My mouth is watering as I sit with broth in hand thinking about just having a bite of my favorite meal... a baked potatoe LOL I think you are doing fantastic and I would follow what your doctor says. I know hubby was just trying to be helpful.. mine does that from time to time and sometimes I dont like what he says. Good luck Jenn your doing fantastic!!

Hi Jenn -
I agree with the obove posts. I think it would be great if he could come with you to your appointment; it might alieviate some of his concerns. Some of his concerns, may be related to Diane's comments, but he honestly may not have even voiced them to himself.
I have only lost 44 lbs in the past 3.5 months, so according to Ellen's Dr. I am "way slow". I doubt that you are losing too fast though. If you are, your Dr. will tell you so and work with you through your nut to see about making it work better. If you husband is worried that you are losing too fast, tell him that the baked potato isn't going to make you lose any faster ... LOL.
I hope that he goes with you and that guys are able to talk it out.
Take care,
Barb

Jennifer, My opinion is how can you lose too fast?! I know that people are different and lose weight at different paces. I'm sure if your doctor was concerned, he would've said somethin. If you're still concerned, go see him again. :) I'm sorry your husband said that to you..I could imagine how you felt. I would have felt the same way. Good job on the weight loss! Hopefully I can lose 40ish pounds in 10 weeks!
((hugs))
