Darc, Well girl I've been thinking about you all week!!!!!!!  I'm glad to hear you're doing well and already a week out (tomorrow that is)...   All I can say about the hunger part of it is sip sip sip sip sip sip sip!!!  It does help!  I remember that part of my journey and as long as I drank like I was supposed to I didn't get hungry.   I go see Dr. McDonald on October 1st and he's going to hollar at me for gaining these 20lbs... yikes!  But at least it's not 24lbs any more, I'm on the loosers bench once again!  Yipee!!!  lol!   Take care and feel better! Hey Darcie!! Glad to hear you are doing well!!!  I have been thinking about you and saying little prayers all week.  REST REST REST!  You will be tired for a bit longer, but your energy will come back.  I am 10 weeks post op today and I can tell you that it gets much better! :)  You rock girlie!!  Just keep it up!!

Time will pass and you will move beyond the liquids. Just think of how good you will look and how healthy you will be and hang in there. You can  remind me of this when it is my turn. Sip sip sip and loose loose loose. Good Luck Myrtis

Hi Love Love,      One thing I won't have to worry about after surgery is getting that lovely "monthly visitor." Uggghh! Last December I had endometrial ablasia and said goodbye to "Aunt Flo" for good. She visited one September morn and never left till I "evicted " her on Dec. 1st. No more worries...but that's a completely different message board all together. Bah!      I think you need to have me visit sometime in the very near future. I miss you so! Suzanne has to go back to work on the 1st...or 2nd of October. I'd love to come see you. I know it would be best for her to come with me also, so if you are up to it...lemme know? Mare, Same thing happened to me... She visited for 5 months straight and I had to evict her bigtime!  I had the whole thing done and she's not welcome back!  EVER!!!  LOL!! I hope you're feeling better Darce! Sheryl

Thank God for hysterectomies! Best money I ever spent..... I may have to revise that saying after I lose weight with the RNY, right ladies?   

You'll definately change your mind after RNY!  LOL!!!!  But it was the 2nd best money I ever spent for sure!!!  The only bad thing for me is that I'm on Premarin and I think that's part of the reason I started gaining again (I will take most of the blame, but I think the hormones are part of it...  That's my story and I'm sticking to it... lol)...   Have a great night ya'll!!! Darcie, it's so good to see you posting again!  It's great to hear you're doing well, other than the hunger. When I had my 1 week post-op visit with my Dr. I asked him if I should be hungry...and I MEAN hungry...pouchie was growling like it's cool!  He told me to drink a protein shake when I felt that way.  I also read that it could be a sign of dehydration.  It gets better once you get to that pureed stage!  Hang in there!  :) Take care!
