A shocker for me...

I haven't been weighed since last May. I went to the mall on Tuesday and saw one of those weight machines at the GNC store and decided that I really wanted to know how much I weighed. I weighed 404 in May...I haven't really been tryin to lose weight except for recently, but it hasn't been a major change. The scale said I weigh 383!!! I was like, "No way." And so I weighed myself again. I really do weigh 383! How did I lose 20 pounds? I don't know but I'm happy about it! Woo hoo!  Shelly

Wow, Shelly,      That is wonderful - especially without even realizing it! Good for you. I'll take every pound I can get, too. xoxo Mare

Well it looks like your recent efforts are paying off!  Congratulations!  I am sure your doctor will be happy to see that as well.

Thanks! Anytime I decide to start restrictin my diet, it gets really hard, but I don't have a problem when I'm doin it unconsciously. Now that I know I'm tryin, it's gettin hard. :p Yeah, I thought that the doctor would be happy to see I'm tryin too. :) Shelly

Congratulations Shelly. 20 pounds is 20 pounds and I know if you are like me you will gladly accept that loss. I know you are tickled pink to have done it without even trying. Great job. Lisa

Thanks Lisa. :) Yeah, 20 pounds is a lot to me. Especially when I wasn't meanin to lose it. Glad I did though.

Shelly -

I know you are delighted with the loss. I imagine that as you are persuing WLS you are probably making subtle changes in your choices and they are showing up on the scales. That's wonderful!

Congratulations on your loss!
