HAS ANYONE TRIED SHAKE AND BAKE

Hi everyone,  I was just wondering if anyone has tried Shake and Bake at all. For my lunch and dinner I always eat baked chicked ot baked pork chops...well tonight my daughter told me she wanted some shake and bake and a baked potato...I was just wondering if anyone has tried that yet. Hey Stephanie! It good to see you posting again.  How is that head cold?  I had it bad for 6 weeks!  The pressure was so bad in my head that my ears were plugged and ringing!  ugh... almost gone now.  But I had it the entire month of August... lost my voice... sick sick sick.  I pray you are feeling better.  How are you doing with your weight loss?  You're just about 2 months ahead of me.  I hope all is going well.  Please post often.  I can't eat baked chicken or pork chops!  Lucky you!  I cant even eat an apple! oh well Keep well! Be a little careful ... the shake n bake has a lot of sugar in it. I've done it before and it's been okay. I marinate my chicken or pork chops in buttermilk first so that they are incredibly tender.

P.S. Diane ... try some marinated chicken/pork ... if you want it to be extra tender, use a meat mallot to "tenderize" it some more.

I use shake and bake a lot. I dredge the chicken thru ChickFilas buffalo sauce then coat with the shake and bake... or use BBQ sauce... yum!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I have used Shake and Bake.  They also have many similar products that are like Shake and Bake.  I use Zatarans and it gives a well seasoned flavor.  I dip my chicken in egg and then coat it with the Zatarans/shake and bake/regular flour etc.  Coating in egg, weather you are frying or baking makes your chicken crispy and really golden brown.  Its my secret to perfect chicken.
