APPROVED!!! SURGERY Thursday

Hi everybody,                         This went so fast and I can't believe it's happening! I'm so SHOCKED----I'm STUNNED!! I've gotten a little nervous... I KNOW it's been asked a BILLION times... I bought some Ensure and some Boost and a chewable multiviatmin.. But what else do I need?  and this may be TMI I know I told my doctor today it's T.OM. do I need to let everyone else know when I get there Thursday? Nervous and Crazy here... thanks everyone taryn

Taryn, that is WONDERFUL news!  Congratulations!  Call your surgeon's surgical coordinator to find out what his recommendations are.  They all seem to be different.  For instance my surgeon and my NUT never mentioned Ensure or Boost...  They won't let you go home to fail, Sweetie!  Take a deep breath!

Congrats! I'd definitely check w/the nutritionist. Boost and Ensure are calorie dense and kind of high in sugar, I can't imagine those would be the best choices.

Hi Tayrn and Congrats! I'm so glad things are moving so quickly- it gets the wt loss going quickly...lol.... Being here in Wilmington, I'll gladly step up and off to be your angel. I can PM you and give you my cell number- call with any questions, fears, etc and I'll keep the Board posted after surgery! You will do wonderful! I only had 3 days notice before my surgery- it can be a little overwhelming! Call me gurl! Best of luck for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery! Sheila
