Hi to everyone from North Carolina, I'm Debbie in Charlotte - waiting to have my surgery on September 26th. I'm now on day five of the pre-op liquid diet and contrary to what I expected - I'm still alive! I'm new to the board and don't know anyone here that's having the surgery. I know I'm going to have a million questions. Would you all mind if I bugged you every now and then? Thanks so much - I'm in need of wls friends. Deb

Deb, My surgery isn't until Oct. 15th. so you are ahead of me but I just wanted to say good luck on the liquid diet and the surgery. I am so excited about having this done and I can't wait for my turn. Best of luck! Beth

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)
