BEACH TRIP 10/5-10/7 & WILMINGTON RIVERFEST

Happy Saturday to all. Wanted to let everyone know that the 39th annual Wilmington Riverfest falls the same weekend as our beach get together.  Riverfest is a street festival in Downtown with arts/crafts/food concession and a kid zone open from 10am to 6pm on Sat 10/6 and 11am to 5pm on Sun 10/7. All activities are free and a lot of fun. This is a good family event, or for couples or just my Sista, Sheryl and me....LOL. Just wanted to give another great reason to come join us for the sunset celebration/potluck supper & clothing swap at 5pm on Sat. PM me with any questions. And lodging is CHEAP! Bech rates are down to $39-59/night- but I would strongly suggest reservations. It can be a busy weekend. Sheila

OMGoodness! Sounds like a blast. I wish my nephew's wedding was on another week-end. We were able to find a way to go to the wedding, so unfortunately I'll miss the beach trip ... but I'll be thinking of you all.

Hi Sheila! That is soooo tempting.  I would love to go, but my work schedule at this point is not allowing days off.  Yep, we are on 7 days/wee****il the end of the year!  C'mon 2008!  I am ready for some fun! Blessings, Dianef

I wish I could come.  Can you believe I have a wedding to shoot down there on that day?  They're going to go into Wilmington for their reception Saturday night too.  Maybe I'll see y'all @ the Riverfest!  LOL Have a great time!
