Autumn Volksmarch 10/13/07 Durham, NC

You all are invited to join us in a 2 mile (hike) Volksmarch at Holden Mill Trail, Eno River State Park, Durham, NC, on 10/13/07, 10 a.m.  I will be leading the group and am a very slow walker so no one should have a problem keeping up.  There will be a surprise gift for all who complete the 2 mile Volksmarch!   For those who work up an appetite, or just want to hang out with us, lunch will follow at Port City Java, in Durham where they serve delicious coffee, soups and salads.  Please feel free to bring family members and leashed canines.  Hiking boots are recommended.  Be sure to bring water for yourself, family and friends and the pooch!  This is a very scenic walk so you may want to bring along your camera! Hiking Boots?! I don't think I've ever owned a pair! LOL I guess I'll need to see about finding some. Sounds like fun ... I think? Never have been an outdoorsy kinda girl, but I'll head over to meetup.com to sign myself up.
