My First REALLY Big WOW Moment!!!

Well... I am just flabergasted.  The day I walked into surgery I could wear a pair of shorts I bought at Target and they were a size 26.  Most of my clothes were a 24 though.   A few years ago I lost 70 pounds on Atkins and lost 70 pounds.  I have tons of cool clothes in the 18-20 range from that weight loss.  I packed them away thinking I would never ever wear them again.  Well..  all of my clothes have been looking like sacks on me lately, so today I pull out my plastic tub of the Atkins clothes.  Guess what... I can wear all of my old Levis, shorts and carpris!!  I am so super excited.  I was on the the phone with my sister telling her that I would never get into these.. and THEY ALL FIT!!  I am so excited.  Those 18/20's might as well be 12's!   YAY!!! 

YOU GO GIRL!!!! WOOHOOO Im so proud of you Jenn!!! how fantastic!! Im glad you kept the clothes!!!! its like having a new wardrobe

It really is like getting new clothes.  I kept digging in that keeper and would see something I totally forgot about!  It was cool!

   GOOD JOB!!!! So glad you tried them on BEFORE they got too big! Must feel like Christmas at your house today! You look fabulous and I know you have to feel it too!!!!  It's funny, because I am cleaning my closet out ( Sheryl gets all my Levi jeans tonight). My closet is looking really bare....but all for good reason! Enjoy your triumph! Well deserved! Sheila

Thanks Sheila.  :)  It was like Christmas.. and it was liberating.  Getting rid of those old clothes will feel good!!!  I have them in a corner of my bedroom and every time I put on something I can no longer wear I just add it to the pile.  :)

  Awesome!  You go girl.  I here you.  I am so excited for you.  I bet we bought the same shorts from Target in a 26. (I was a 24 too but Target clothes are made smaller I think)  B/c I had to buy a belt for mine.........   Ah, I am so happy for you.  I know you just wanted to cry didn't you?  Tears of joy of course. 

It feels good!  I wore a suit to church today that I have not worn in years!!  It really does feel great.  And I loved those Target shorts.. and I also think their clothes run a bit small.  :)
