If I were Sheryl,, I'd tell them that "some" things are more important! lol. Yes, I am planning on driving down Friday night, if that's ok........I sure don't want to miss Sheryl! Sheila, did you get in touch with the "clean up" people? No bikini's for me on the beach, lol. Puh-leese! Can't wait. Have we got, or are we going to have a menu sign up? Although I have NOOOOOO idea.

Although Oct 6 and 7th is the National Clean Sweep, New Hanover County is having their's the weekend before so it does not conflict with The RiverFest , which is going on the weekend of our get together. For those who have never attended a RiverFest- it is a 2 day street festival in downtown Wilming with tons of Arts & Crafts, food , food and more food, dancing, entertainment, etc....so it might be a fun thing for some to do on Sat morning. It's only about a 20 min drive into downtown and I have always loved Riverfest.Any 90% of the activities are FREE!!!
Lessons learned from our last potluck dinner- PLEASE bring moderate size goodies- had way too many left overs! I'm either going to do meatballs or hotwings. I think Barb is doing a marinated shrimp salad. Tuna slad would be a good option....Small fruit tray.....small veggie tray....
The condo's refrig. is smaller than at home, so I can not have tons of leftovers. Could use a healthy or low fat dessert. Anything that you can eat after WLS works just fine. It's not about the food, its the fun and fellowship!
