Mommy2three is Home!

Hi All!  Just wanted to give you an update and let you know that Laurie is home and resting comfortably! She had her surgery yesterday at around 8:30am and was home by 4:00pm. Her husband said she is battling nausea, but otherwise she is doing fine. I sent supper to her family yesterday, but didn't actually get to see her. I plan to visit on Saturday. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to recover. This is her first ever surgery, and what a trooper! I am soooo excited to have a bandster neighbor!

I'm glad Laurie is home and resting well. Keep us posted on her progress.

Chareen, God bless you for keeping us posted about Laurie.  That was wonderful of you to send supper to her family, and a blessing to them.  Laurie is a wonderful lady.  I so enjoyed meeting her at IHOP in August.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do!  What a wonderful friend Laurie has in you! Thanks so much for the update on Laurie. I'm delighted to hear that prayers have been answered and that she's doing well. I hope that the nausea subsides soon.

I know that her family appreciates your thoughtfulness. One of the biggest helps for my husband was having a few meals brought in after I had my surgery.

Please do let her know that I'm thinking of her and looking forward to seeing her soon. (You too!)
