Having a hard time writting this but wants my friends at OH to know I got a sooner date for eye surgery. the nurse left the message on my cell OMG and while becky and I were waiting to get a second opinion I noticed I had some messages. The doctor I met with at Duke was just great and I told her why I was there and told her who my regular doctor was. It is very clear that yes I have cateracts in both eyes and the left needs to be done first.The doc at duke said to stay with my regular doc and as things turned out I can have it done on 9/27. I drove to the eye center today and boy it felt great. Becky drove us to lunch and then by the store to see Lee. I have my preop tomorrow and plan on driving myself. Annie
