Lord knows I hate sharing this.....
Thanks for sharing. A lady that goes to the beauty shop where I take my mom had it. She is gaining hers back too. She is 2 years out and had a regular Mt. Dew. She is like, they will tell you that you can't have this, but I only stopped drinking sodas the first 2 months. She gave me her # and offered to help me post op. I accepted it and thanked her for her kindness. But, in my mind, I was like yeah. hahahahaa
Nope! I'm soooo glad you shared it. It is part of what helps keep us focused. And you are so right, we absolutely need each other and support that this community provides.
Thanks Diane ... For all you do and who you are.

Diane- I am glad to see you post this....I had a delivery driver who was 2.5 yr post op for RNY- this was long before I was considering surgery- she used to blow my mind- show up at work with a dozen hot Krispy Kreme donuts/ cans of coke, etc.....she never reached goal and has gained back 75% of her wt. She is now so jelaous of me- I have to absolutely bite my tongue to keep from saying- why did you think your way would work?!? It was insane.
I am such a big believer in the power of support and OH. You guys hold me accountable and you are such a voice of reason. I agree with Jen- the post op care has been better taylored to our needs. I am now grateful that I have nut appt monthly ( thought it was excessive pre-op, but now understand.....)Reality is we ARE RESPONSIBLE for making changes and better choices- our surgery gives us a valuable tool to keep the decisions real......
Good post Miss Di!
