C-PAC
Gosh, that's different, Maureen. Did you have a sleep study done? I have been sleeping with a C=PAP machine for 3 years now. Should have had one 30 years ago! But if it is so borderline in your case, I don't understand why your doc would want to try it out for 6 months. Call your insurance company and see if they would cover it. If they don't approve, how can your doc justify it?
Wish you the best, Maureen!
To tell you the truth I dont think I ever slept as good as I do when I wear my machine.
From my understanding REM sleep is when you are sleeping really good REM stands for Rapid Eye Movement.
Before my machine I could never watch a full movie or show with my DH but now I can watch a whole movie.
You never relize just how presious sleep is until you relize you arent getting it.
Also since my surgery I am now just going to the bathroom just one time during the night and sometimes I dont go till 5-6am this is a good change for me.

Maureen,
Sounds like you dont have apnea too bad which is a good thing.
As far as buying a machine I understand they can cost alot and you have to have your setting set at a sleep lab or sleep study place.
Good luck in pursuing wls but dont give up and keep going for it.
I know in my heart I did the right thing by doing it.

Your finger crossing did the trick. I called Jennifer this morning at Health Home Equip. and she called the Ins. Co. said that they will cover the C-Pac. Why would she tell me such a thing before she checked it out. They work with Ins. Co. all the time. For customer service ,you always check everything before you call a customer back. Oh Well, it's all taken care of. I pick it up Wednesday afternoon.
