I've been away awhile so here's the update....

I haven't been on the boards for awhile now.  I went back to work and being a teacher during the first few weeks of school has been hectic.  6th graders just don't know anything!!!  Anyway,  as you all may remember, I was denied back in July and have been in the process of waiting to hear about my appeal.  Today was day #30 and the letter from BCBSNC came..... I AM APPROVED!!!!!  I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT, PINCH ME I'M DREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!   It feels as if an enormous weight has been lifted off of my entire body and I can't stop smiling.  What an amazing feeling to realize this is really going to happen,  I am on my way.  Now I just have wait to get my date.  I want to thank everyone for their support and words of encouragement, you have helped me get through this appeal more than you know.  YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!        

Thats great CONGRATULATIONS we will be waiting for you on the loosiers bench. You can do this.                                         Annie

Michelle, That is WONDERFUL news!  I know the feeling you are describing!  As though you have just been released from a life sentence in prison!  I am very happy for you and thank you for sharing your news with us.  Please continue to keep us posted. All the best,

Congrats! I am very happy for you. I had that weight lifted just knowing Dr. B was willing to do the surgery. Other than this site...our friends and family just don't understand how much this wls means to us. They are afraid for us .. or don't inderstand why we can't do it on our own.  But isn't it nice to know all of us on this site can understand the joy of an approval.....pounds lost......smaller clothing sizes and just being able to fit in a booth at a resturant or a  ride at the amusment park. You are on the way to all these new joys. I want to hop on that train with you. Congrats again and the best of luck on your journey. Sorry every now and than thing**** me  and I go Zin on you guys.
