My eyes

Saw the eye doctor today and his nurse will call me next Tuesday to schedule eye surgery for my left eye. As I thought I have developed cateract in my right eye also. I read the surgery info he gave me today and it says that I can have my other eye done within a week after having my first one done. So we will have to see how the nurse schedules all this out. I am looking forward to seeing better in the future.                                             Annie

Now you'll really be able to see how much smaller you're getting! Hang in there.

Hi Annie! I'm so glad that you've got the ball rolling for your eye surgery!  Did you go to Chapel Hill for that?  I think Memorial Hospital is one of the best I've ever been in.  I'll be praying for full restoration of your vision!  Through God ALL things are possible! Love you! Dianef

I saw my eye doctor who is in Chapel Hill he does his eye surgeries at the same place the Duke wls center is LOL. It is hard to be homebound but I am dealing with it best I can. I do have friends who offer to take me places if I need to go. I feel like I should oay them for gas since it is so expensive. I am down to maybe two servings of the bean soup and boy have I enjoyed it.                                         Annie

Annie, Glad to hear that they are going to be able to get your eyes fixed up for you!  I used to work for eye doctors who did cateract surgeries all the time and what a difference the patients would have in their eye sight after surgery!!  Good luck to you and I am very excited for you! Hugs, Donna
