Neomondes...SUPER WOW!

I have been a fan of Neomonde's for a few years now.  In my opinion (any MANY others) they have the best Mediterranean food in the Triangle...They have a market and also a deli where they serve things freshly made daily like tuna, chicken salad, hummus, fatoush, etc., etc.  My favs are the tuna salad (not mayo based) and fatoush (basically, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, with lots of fresh herbs and spices, olive oil, etc.) I had an AH HA moment today when I realized that I CAN STILL EAT THIS STUFF....  I went to lunch there today and discovered that if I eat 3 oz of their Tuna Salad (2oz of Tuna to 1 oz of Vegetables) then I am getting 17 grams of protien.  What a WOW moment for me! I can not tell you how happy I am!  I think I should look into stock options with Neomondes... Neomonde's, you had me at hello...

MMM Middle Eastern food is absolutely divine! But I am a bit biased - my father is Palestinian so I grew up on hummus, pita bread, falafel, and much more. I go to NC State, and I've only had the fortune to make it to Neomondes once, but they are VERY good. But, I want to throw out an option for those of you that are in the Triad and not the Triangle. My father owns a store in Greensboro, NC called Jerusalem Market. It does not have a sit-down eating place, but he makes his own hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, and has tons of meats, cheeses, canned items (tunas, olives, marinated vegetables), pastas and rices and beans, jellies and jams (including some SF), chocolates, herbs and spices, crackers, breads, drinks, fresh ground coffee, teas, nuts and dried fruits, and he makes his own stuffed grape leaves, spinach, meat and cheese pies, etc. He dry roasts almonds, cashews, peanuts, hazelnuts, and sells some other kinds as well. So, yeah, if you live in Greensboro/High Point/Jamestown/nearby, Jerusalem Market is pretty awesome.
