Update

Hi all.  I'm sorry I've been MIA.  My internet went about 10 days ago, unexpectedly.  It was supposed to be an easy switch from DSL to Cable, but the Dish people had cut the main Cable line and Suddenlink had to come out and install a new one underground.  I've bee waiting and waiting for that to happen.  It finally has, but it'll be tuesday before the contractor can come back out and fix the jacks and whatnot. I am totally out of the loop and am sorry for whatever I've missed.  I don't have the computer time right now to read all the posts from the last week or so, so that'll have to wait.  To everyone, know youre in my thoughts and prayers. Now, my update.  My husband of 18 years moved out on the 11th of August.  It has been terribly difficult, but I am managing.  The following weekend, my oldest son moved out to begin his freshman year in college.  My house is so quiet now with just me, my younger son, and my very large dog.   My sincerest hope is that he'll come back, but either way, I know that God has me in the palm of His hand.  Weight loss wise, I hit 100 pounds lost late last week.  That's 100 pounds in 4.75  months.  My stall finally broke and I lost 9 pounds in just a few days.  I also started a job working at Catherine's and am finding it very very difficult to not buy all the beautiful clothes now that I can fit anything.  In regards to my own self, life has been very good recently.  The rest is all up the God. I do hope all is well with each of you.  I am looking forward to Tuesday-ish when I can get back on and read how everyone is doing. Take care all Ellen

Own it all, it's yours!

Thanks for taking the time to update us Ellen.  I have thought of you frequently.  And you are so right about God's plan.  Hold onto that faith.  He will see you through this.  I know that many of what I perceived to be a curse turned into a huge blessing when put into God's hands. My best to you.

Hi Ellen - We have all missed you on the board. So glad to see you again. Congrats on your major accomplishment. Of course, I am very sorry your honey has left, but hopefully he'll realize how fabulous you are and want to hold things together. But even if that doesn't happen, you're a beautiful, strong, couragous woman and will be AOK. All the best to you, friend. Missed you.  xoxo Mare

Hi Ellen,      Glad to hear that you made 100 pounds and about your job at Catherine's. I know that has to give you something to be happy about even through all the mayhem with your husband leaving. I do hope that he will see what a gem he has and find his way back. Regardless, you are a survivor! You have taken great strides to become healthy and happy. You are in very capable hands and He has great plans for you.  Lisa
