mean as a snake

I woke up mean as a snake this morning.

This is not normal but I guess I am frustrated with everthing going on.

We are having our AC replaced and we were told it would be on by yestrday well the men ran into some problems under the house and they are fixing the problems so by 2pm the new heat pump should be up and running.

Also my Blood sugar was up to 209 this morning so I took a very small amount of an oral diabetes med I was told to take if my numbers got to 200.

I know stress can cause high blood sugar so I am hoping that is what is going on.

I feel like I am captive in my home because of my eyes right now.I wish I could jump in my car and go shopping or go to curves.

I just have to be patient and it will work out.

I finally signed up for Fit Day and am recording my food.

I am so worried I am eatting to many crackers.

Crackers are going down good but normally I like to have them with soup.

Soup is great and it fills me up.

Hi Annie, I'm sorry you are not feeling well this morning.  I have been bit by some ungodly virus that has me down with burning throat, ear ache, head ache, clogged sinuses, cough, etc etc.  I need my mommy... I rarely get sick but this time I caught a doozie.  Watch those crackers as they do have sugar in them.  I have the same problem... I love crackers and they sit so well in the pouch. Also remember that estrogen is stored in fat cells.  When we stop feeding our fat cells, or better yet, when we pass them, so goes the estrogen.  This can throw us into HYPER PMS or Extreme Menopausal Symptoms (depending on your age).  I go through bouts of the blues because of this but I just tell those little critters, I ain't feedin you! I am going to post a wonderful chicken soup that will cure all your ills!  If you are not up to cooking I will bring you some Sunday!  I keep it frozen fresh in the freezer and it never lasts more than a week.  So it's all good.  I'm going to church in Sanford Sunday morning and can drop it off, if given directions.  I have to be in church at 8:30 a.m. so it'll be early! Hope you're feeling better soon, I'm off to my doctor's appt at 1:15! Love, Diane

Through God ALL things are possible!

Hi Diane,

I emailed you the directions to my house.

I am looking forward to seeing you Sunday morning and trying some of your famous soup.

Hi Annie -

Ohhhhh!!!! How I hate the heat! I don't know about you, but it brings out the worst in me. I lose tolerance for just about anything.

I imagine the heat, coupled with the stress of being housebound is very likely to cause a great deal of stress which probably is driving up your glucose levels.

One of the things that seems to help me when I'm hot, is to run my head and/or whole body under a cold tap. Seems to bring down my temp and my ire ... if you know what I mean.

Since, it's about a quarter to 2, I'm hoping that you are going to be cooling off soon dear.

Thinking of you warmly ... maybe coolly would be better :-)

Barb my bulldogs and I dont do heat well at all.

Before they started this undertaking on putting in a new heat pump I made my concerns heard about my dogs.

Fortunatly the AC company brought us a portable unit and that is helping keeping things tolerable also two weeks ago we bought a window unit for the kitchen when we relized the main heat pump wasent able to keep the front of the house cool.

Thanks for the tips on staying cool.

It could be worse and as of this moment no AC yet.

The men have been working since 8am this morning non stop.

I am sure Lee is waiting to hear something from me about the AC but he works in a meat locker and it is very cool in the meat dept.
