Laura -

I would contact the folks actually hosting the midnight madness pottery painting event in Wake Forest and be sure that you have company. If you don't, just hollar ... I think you might that there are some folks interested.

I hope that you have a great time ... it's a fun, interactive activity.

Yes Sheila, I received the message from meetup.com about being an organizer.  I did not know that there was a fee involved with this site.  Who has paid it? Lori

Laura, I soooo agree with you about the meeting over a meal. Seems a lil counter productive. I would call the pottery place and inquire there. It sounds like a great outing- I have never tried making pottery, but love going to Seagroves. Sheila

ooooo Seagrove...   I go there religiously... it is a sick sick addiction...  actually this Saturday they are having an extravaganza of sorts at Luck's, just FYI...   I am starting a pottery class in a few weeks to learn how to throw my own pottery, but this place in Wake Forest for Saturday has the pottery already made you just go and paint it and then they fire it for you and you pick it up in a week or so... I'm excited.... just wish there was other folks to go....

Lori- I hate to assume anything- but I guess Wendy did? Might email meetup.com and inquire about the details. No idea if its a monthly charge or what???? Sheila

Hey Lori, There is a fee involved with this site.  I think it is like $70 for six months.  Wendy paid the original fee but since she deactivated within 30 days she was able to get a refund.  I am happy to help pay for the site, if the group decides it is adventitious to continue using it.  Candice

If we decide to proceed with the site- I'm gladly chip $10 for maintainance.....lol.... I would like to see an open, candid decision for the next few days about keeping it- it seems most are in favor of it.....what about Candice being primary organizer and maybe Barb and Laura also helping? Just a suggestion.....Any others??? Sheila

I agree.  Maybe we should start a seperate thread on the main page for people to comment Yes/No.   We can monitor that over the next week and then decided whether to reactivate or not.  If we decide to move forward, you can count me in for $10 as well.  Candice
