Hey John! Congratulations on your surgery!  Like many it is difficult to sit still and recover!  I pray your strength comes back soon!  I returned to work after 3 weeks and was weak as a kitten.  But the strength does come back and then some.  Take it easy at work.  Please let us know how you are doing! Welcome back John!  I'm sorry your foot was hurt but I'm glad it's all getting better!!!  My suggestion to you is to take as much time as you can away from work, you're still healing!  I was supposed to be out for 6 weeks but came back after only 2, I was lucky nothing happened but I was sore for sure!!!  Anyway I'm glad things went well and you're back with us!  Have a great week!!!

Welcome back, John.  Please don't push yourself to rush back to work if you don't need to. Your body has been through alot and needs time to heal.  Be good to you! Mare

John, Glad to hear that you made it through to the other side!  Sorry to hear they banged you up in the hospital!  Jeeze, you hope to come home in better shape than you went in!  Take care of yourself. Lori

Welcome back and congratulations, John!  I wish you a speedy and uneventful recovery.  But I would also recommend taking as much time off from work as you can.  You need to heal.

Welcome back John!  I've been wondering about you!  Am so glad that you came thru it fine, except for the foot/ankle thing.  I'm sure you're looking forward to the staples and pump being out.  Don't let them guilt trip you into comming back before you're ready, only you truly know how you feel and you sound like you have a job where they do care about you, thus they will wait a little longer if need be.  You never mentioned, or at least I missed it if you did, did you have a party when the boss took you to lunch?  Welcome to the loosers bench!! John, I know what you mean about staying home and going crazy. Dr. Mitchell insisted I stay home1  month and I thought I would go crazy.  But once i got back to the store, I found out why.  It is harder to do your program with the distractions of work.  Timing on your meals and snacks can't always be as exact.  Just be careful.  And nothing says you can't give it a try, and if it is to hard go back home for a few more weeks.  Glad your foot is getting better and I look forward to meeting you in our home town soon.  You have my phone # so call sometimes.
