Too old for tuff wars and this foolishness!!!

Hi everyone. I have been reading but not posting only because I've been busy. I am going to the breakfast in September. I just can't afford to go to the beach. The last trip only three of us decided to show up and instead of $85/person it was $176... YIKES.  I'm a single mom on a budget and I can't risk people not showing up again. I'm also kinda private and don't like to share a bed. It was a less than ideal situation and I was miserable but made the best of it. So the board hasn't lost me but maybe I'll just come down for a day trip in October.  Jennifer

Wow Jenn, Had no idea how costly that trip was! I can relate to being a single mom and milk money comes before beach entertainment. Good to see you post and look forward to seeing you again soon- guess its time for me to haul myself up to Raleigh for a get together. Take care, Sheila

Being a newbie to the board, when you read about things like this it almost makes you hesitant to even want to hang around.  However, I have been lurking now for over a year and just now have decided to get involved and "speaking up".  The main reason I come to the board of course is to get advice, support, comfort and just about anything to do with WLS.  I am probably two-three months post and I am here to gather as much info as I can....not to learn how to be a negative person.  Trust me...got plenty of them all around me all day long.   I say to all negative people here...  Go play in someone else's sandbox.  Here is your shovel!!!   Connie
