First, I would like to thank Candice and Wendy for introducing me to Meetup.com! It is a great place to find groups with similar interests as me. For instance, I love Bible Study, Sewing, Hiking, and Travel. There are local groups for all of that all within 30 miles of me! If you have hesitated to join, as I did at first, please reconsider. This is a great place to socialize with folks with same interests! Oh yes, and that includes our support group! We are in our infancy here. I am sure until Wendy and Candice really get the ball rolling, mistakes will be made. We are all only human. Please be patient and kind. Try not to jump to conclusions. I believe if we all work together for a common cause, we can derive great strength, life long friendships, and grow in knowledge and spirit here. Y'all have my 100% support. Here Here! Can I get a second????

I too have found meetup.com to be a valuable resource that I hadn't explored until Wendy had introduced it to us.
I have already participated in a couple of functions with other groups on meetup.com and I look forward to attending and enjoying functions with The Raleigh OH Meetup Group as well.
